1. Start by placing the base, top side down, bottom facing up, on a solid and level surface.


If you're using a frame, make sure it can support the weight of the base and mattress.


2. Hand-tighten all four legs into the bed frame until secure. The legs can be used with or without the height extension piece.


Note that there are two location options for each leg, an outside placement or an inside placement.


Tighten the legs in your chosen location, maintaining a consistent inside or outside location throughout.


3. Next, place your mattress on top of the base. Please make sure that it is centered and evenly distributed before proceeding.


4. When your mattress is in place, plug in the power cord to an outlet and press the "power" button on the remote control.


The red light on the side of the base will illuminate, indicating that it is powered on.


5. Use the up/down arrows on the remote control to raise or lower the head and foot of your bed to find your perfect position!
